RHLL Tryouts

12-Year-Old – 8:00 am (7:30 Check-In) @ MAJOR FIELD;
AAA + 7-Year-Old 8:00am (7:30 check-in) @ MINOR FIELD;
8-Year-Old / 9-Year-Old 9:00am (8:30 check-in) @ MAJOR FIELD;
10-Year-Old / 11-Year-Old – 11:00am (10:30am Check-In) @ MAJOR FIELD;

Tryout Agenda:

AAA + 7-Year-Old's - 3 thrown fly balls, 3 batted ground balls, 5 forward toss pitches (Rob and Dan);
8-Year-Old's /9-Year-Old's - 3 thrown fly balls, 3 batted ground balls, 5 pitches off machine;
10-Year-Old's /11-Year-Old's – 3 batted fly balls, 3 batted ground balls, 5 pitches off machine;
12-Year-Old's – 3 batted fly balls, 3 batted ground balls, 5 pitches off machine;

8/9-Year-Old's & 10/11-Year-Old's groups to run as follows:

Outfield: (8- or 10-Year Old's in Left Field throwing to third while simultaneously 9- or 11-Year Old's in RF throwing to second);
Infield (8- or 10-Year Old’s at 3B while simultaneously 9- or 11-Year Old’s at Shortstop- use 2 first baseman divided by net);
Hitting TBD (ideally two batters off two machines divided per age group by a net at home plate);
No groups of five. Instead, the entire group does each station before rotating. Late arrivals start entire process after initial group is done unless it makes sense to catch them up.
